This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the constructivist approach in developing the speaking skill of Al-Aqsa University students. The study adopts a quasi-experimental research design and includes two groups of participants: an experimental group and a control group. Data collection relies on the use of pre-test and post-test instruments, And Both groups consist of first-year students enrolled in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program in the Department of Languages. The two groups study a conversation course as part of the curriculum. The control group includes 35 students, and the experimental group also includes 35 students, So The teaching process lasts for one academic semester, with three instructional hours per week. The researcher designed a program based on the constructivist learning approach to enhance students’ speaking skills. The results of the pre- and post-tests were statistically analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients and Cronbach’s alpha to compare the mean scores, standard deviations, and effect sizes.
