This study aims to examine the integration of modern educational technologies in traditional education and analyze their impact on learning quality, student engagement, and the development of higher-order thinking skills. The researcher employed the descriptive-analytical method, relying on a theoretical analysis of relevant literature and previous studies in the fields of education and educational technology, with a focus on the theoretical and conceptual aspects of modern educational technologies and their integration methods, without depending on field applications or statistical measurement. The study found that the use of modern educational technologies effectively contributes to enhancing learning quality, increasing interaction between teachers and students, and promoting higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, inference, and problem-solving. It also improves the efficiency of the educational process when technology is integrated with traditional methods, provided that teachers possess the necessary skills and competence to manage digital activities. The researcher also identified several obstacles that may limit the effectiveness of this integration, including inadequate infrastructure, insufficient professional training for teachers, psychological and cultural resistance, and challenges related to digital educational content. The researcher emphasized that the integration of traditional education with modern technologies represents an effective approach to improving the educational process and raising students’ academic achievement. Accordingly, the researcher proposed several practical recommendations, including training teachers to effectively integrate technology with traditional teaching methods, improving the digital infrastructure of schools and classrooms, encouraging blended learning and digital platforms to support interactive learning, designing educational programs that utilize interactive media and digital simulations, and establishing clear educational policies and institutional strategies to facilitate technology integration and reduce gaps between schools and educational stages. Additionally, future research should focus on evaluating the actual impact of modern technologies on student achievement and engagement in traditional classrooms. This study represents a scientific and practical contribution by the researcher to enhance the effectiveness of traditional education through the integration of modern educational technologies, with an emphasis on developing students’ cognitive and intellectual abilities and maximizing the benefits of technology in improving learning quality and academic performance.
