To study the artistic values of basic colors, their expressive significance and symbolism in contemporary interior design, and to express each color as appropriate in spaces. This is the basic principle upon which the current study was based, to address the most important problems such as the phenomenon of visual pollution resulting from poor choice of colors in interior spaces and how to arrive at Fundamental solutions, especially through modern technologies. This study aims to clarify modern scientific concepts about colors to confirm keeping pace with modern technology in color science, and to follow the most important analytical methods that are relied upon in such studies in order to facilitate the process of descriptive analysis to highlight the importance of the color element in interior design and distinguish it from the rest of the contents of the interior space, and as we will explain. In this study, the most important definitions related to color are clear and useful to the researcher interested in such studies. The research is keen to take into account the color properties in general, highlight the different gradations of some colors, the extent of the effect of dyes on the mood and human psychology, know the most important connotations in the inner space, and identify the most important personality traits. Colors and their contrast ratios from each other, with a comparison between cold colors and warm colors and the differences between them, and clarifying the relationship between shadow and light that the architect and interior designer rely on, to enhance the fourth dimension in the internal space and the external space. The study concluded several results, the most important of which is helping to determine the appropriate colors that are distinguished by the aesthetic and functional side preferences within the spaces.
