This research reflects the importance of transitioning from traditional teaching methods to digital design studios in the Department of Arts (at Zawiya University). This is due to their role in improving the outcomes of the educational process and developing students' capabilities, in line with the requirements of the local and international market. This research also highlights the importance of digital studios in enhancing students' ability to understand and apply modern design concepts in the field of interior design. It also explores ways to improve learning environments through the integration of technology, which helps advance the educational process in Libyan universities. The research concludes that digital studios in the applied arts (interior design) specialization should be a dynamic environment that supports innovation and artistic sensitivity and provides students with all the techniques and tools they need to work on their artistic projects. Studio design does not stop at providing modern equipment and technologies, but must also include aspects of student comfort and motivating them to be creative. The research adopted a comparative study of the interior design of several international models at the College of Fine Arts, New York University, the College of Fine Arts, University of Milan, and the College of Fine Arts, Cairo University, as an Arab model. It demonstrated that the interior design of these colleges must be flexible and reflect students' academic needs. Both technical and artistic, locally the case study of the Faculty of Arts (University of Tripoli, Misurata, Zawiya) was conducted, and it resulted that our local faculties face several challenges, including the need for a flexible and modern interior design that serves the artistic and scientific function of the specialization headquarters, supports interaction between students and encourages the innovative use of modern technologies in art.
