الملخص
تقدم هذه الورقة تقنية هجينة لضغط الصور. النهج المقترح جمع بين خوارزميتين وهما خوارزمية Discrete Wavelet Transforms (DWT) وخوارزمية Discrete FourierTransform (DFT)أظهرت النتائج ان الصور المعاد بناؤها بالتقنية الهجينة المقترحة قد حافظت علي جودة الصور وقدمت نسب ضغط عالية، كذلك أظهرت النتائج لجميع الصور المدرجة ان التقنية الهجينة المقدمة قدمت أداء أفضل من حيث قيم MSE و PSNR.
Abstract
This paper presents a hybrid technique for image compression. The proposed approach is combining two different algorithms; Discrete Wavelet Transforms (DWT) and Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). The results show that the suggested image compression approaches preserving the quality of the reconstructed picture and achieved high compression ratios. For all input pictures, the experiential results show that the suggested approach performed better than related works in terms of MSE and PSNR values.
