This study to answer the following question, which is: What are the difficulties of using the latest technology, methods and modern techniques in the field of mathematics teaching for mathematics teachers in the western region of Libya? In order to answer this question, the two researchers reviewed some previous relevant studies and prepared a questionnaire to survey the opinions of mathematics teachers in the western region, and conducted statistical analyzes on the answers of the study sample. Where the results showed that there are difficulties and obstacles that prevent the use of educational technology innovations in teaching mathematics are available to a high degree, mainly due to the luck of hardware and software in educational institutions with the lack of training and periodic courses for teachers on how to employ and use modern technologies in teaching mathematics Keywords: technological innovations, mathematics, teachers, hardware and software, western region, Libya.
