Periodontitis is relatively common chronic condition that has been associated with increased the risk of coronary artery disease through the elevation in the systemic inflammatory markers. . The aim of this Meta-analysis was to examine whether treatment of periodontal disease with scaling and root planning is associated with a reduction in serum level of C-reactive protein
