الملخص

Abstract
Gas dehydration is widely used in natural gas treatment plants as a common process and it removes water which is associated with natural gases in vapor form. The dehydration process is mandatory for ensuring smooth operation of gas transmission lines. Water content in natural gas cause several technical problems such as corrosion and hydrates which may block valves and pipelines. Therefore, this study aims to simulate the prospective Bahr Alsalm gas dehydration process by using Aspen HYSYS V. 8.8 program. Moreover, the model has been built according to the actual process flow diagram. It well known that Increasing feed temperature leads to less dehydration efficiency and as expected, flow rate of natural gas has no effect on the dehydration efficiency.
