التآكل أو التنقر هو شكل من أشكال التآكل الموضعي الذي يؤدي إلى إحداث ثقوب صغيرة في جميع المعادن . في هذه الدراسة، تم تجربة تأثير درجة الحرارة والوقت على سلوك تآكل التنقر للفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ 304 وتم استخدام طريقة الاختبار القياسية ASTM G48-03 لتقييم مقاومة التآكل للفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ باستخدام طريقة الغمر بدرجات حرارة متفاوتة وأوقات غمر متفاوتة في محلول كلوريد الحديديك و أوضحت نتائج هذه الدراسة التجريبية وجود زيادة في مقاومة التآكل من الفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ 304
Abstract
Pitting corrosion or pitting is a form of extremely localised corrosion that leads to the creation of small holes in all metals. In this study, the effect of temperature and time on the pitting corrosion behaviour of 304 stainless steel was investigated. The ASTM G48-03 standard test method was used for evaluating the corrosion resistance of stainless steel by using a Ferric Chloride solution. The results of the experimental study were discussed in detail in this paper. It is revealed that the immersion method with varying temperatures and varying immersion times has indicated there is an increase in corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel
