الملخص
يحدد معامل درجة الحرارة لمؤشر الانكسار ، dn / dT ، الخصائص الحرارية لنظام إرسال الدليل الموجي البصري. يتم تحقيق تصميمات محايدة بصريًا-حراريًا عن طريق اختيار مادة تكسية يكون معاملها الحراري البصري معاكسًا لمعامل نواة الدليل الموجي. تم تحليل هذا المعامل بشكل حساس لأول مرة للعثور على معامل الانكسار عند درجات حرارة مختلفة للدليل الموجي البصري AESO1.54 ، وبالتالي للتنبؤ بمعلمات التصميم البصري ، مثل تلك الخاصة بالدليل الموجي الحراري.
Abstract
The temperature coefficient of the refractive index, dn/dT, determines the thermal characteristics of an optical waveguide transmission system. Thermo-optically neutral designs are achieved by choosing a cladding material whose thermo-optic coefficient is opposite to that of the waveguide core. This coefficient is analyzed critically for the first time to find the refractive indexes at different temperatures for an AESO1.54 optical waveguide and, subsequently, to predict optical design parameters, such as those for an athermal waveguide
